The seasons in the North are full of contrasts, but it is the countless transitions that are exciting; from gathering truffle seaweed in February, to bottling birch sap in April, and then there are rowan leaf sprouts and fir shoots, wild lettuce in the garden and an abundance of berries throughout the autumn. How do we take care of all this? As an architect, this is something I want to continue to consider: how do we organise our homes and local environment to take care of everything we have around us? - Anita Valrygg
